Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication is a highly demanding course in this age of information and technology since the relevance and importance of media is in increasing order. Moreover, the scope of media studies in Nepal is higher as many more Media houses here being established every year, and journalism is regarded as a prestigious profession here. This course introduces the students with the fundamental principles of media and allows them to work in the field and then learn through their own first hand experiences.

BJMC graduates have a great deal of opportunities in the job market. This course attracts a number of students since the profession of journalism helps earn both prestige and income. The students after the completion of the course enjoy a wide area of job market as they are allowed to work not only in the media houses, but in any organisation, as media and communication officer, both in government and non government organisation such as I/NGOs, banks, corporate houses, embassies, UN agencies, hotels, and so on.

Eligibility: –  PCL or A-Level or 10+2 passed from any Stream/Faculty with minimum 2.0 CGPA (Not less D+ in Single subject).
